Regional Demand Planner

About the role

Decathlon Singapore is looking for a Regional Demand Planner to align supply strategy with market demand, optimise product availability and help achieve business objectives. The role calls for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can adapt forecasts to market dynamics and proactively manage inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Supply strategy integration: understand and apply the zone's supply strategy to your product category, collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to incorporate market insights and optimise product assortment and category profitability.
• Sales forecasting: estimate and adjust forecasted sales quantities throughout the season, taking account of historical sales, market trends and promotions, and publish purchase quantities for production and procurement planning.
• Accuracy assurance: run weekly reviews of forecast accuracy, maintain supply-related parameters and run continuous improvement initiatives to improve forecasting models.
• Inventory management: pilot and run the demand planning process within the stock budget, work with upstream and downstream stakeholders to avoid stock-outs and excess stock, and manage the product life cycle and inter-season stock.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting or supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in an agile, dynamic environment.
• Passion for sports, good business and entrepreneurial acumen, and a user/customer-centric mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
