Regional Director of Operations – Collections

About the role

The Regional Director of Operations (Collections) will lead end‑to‑end collections activities across multiple Southeast Asian markets. You will shape strategy, optimise processes and drive performance while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall collections operations to meet monthly targets and KPIs.
• Develop and implement SOPs for both in‑house and outsourced teams.
• Analyse performance data to optimise recovery rates and forecast outcomes.
• Collaborate regionally to share best practices and enhance risk management.
• Ensure full regulatory compliance and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage stakeholder engagement with partners and business clients.
• Drive cost optimisation while improving operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach and develop large operational teams (100+ headcount) and monitor quality and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in collections operations, preferably with multi‑market responsibility.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in data reporting and performance monitoring.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and engage high‑performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability.
