Regional Head of Maersk Project Logistics Operations – Asia Pacific

About the role

Maersk Project Logistics (MPL) is looking for a Regional Head of MPL Operations – Asia Pacific (APA) to lead the regional operational agenda. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on operational excellence, building organisational capability and leading transformational change across the region, working closely with Area leaders, Global Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance and QHSE.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional operations, governance, service delivery and customer outcomes, and deliver regional KPIs and improvement plans while balancing safety, quality, customer experience and profitability
• Drive standardisation across markets and define, implement and improve operational processes, standards and governance
• Lead transformation and change initiatives, champion continuous improvement and a data-driven approach
• Build and develop the operations organisation through coaching, capability development and succession planning, and support the attraction and onboarding of operational talent
• Act as the regional voice of MPL Operations, build partnerships with Global Operations, Commercial, Product, Finance, Procurement and QHSE, and serve as a senior escalation point for complex operational and customer issues

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in project logistics, heavy-lift, breakbulk, industrial projects or complex supply chain operations, in project logistics, freight forwarding, logistics, maritime, energy, industrial or EPC environments (mandatory)
• 5+ years of regional leadership experience managing multi-country teams and operational performance across Asia Pacific; Asia Pacific experience preferred
• Proven track record in operational excellence, process standardisation, governance and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation and change management programmes across multiple markets
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leaders in a matrix organisation
