Regional Legal Counsel

About the role

The Regional Legal Counsel will provide legal and compliance guidance to senior management across Ninja Van’s business units in Singapore. The role focuses on contract management for partnership shippers, supporting fundraising and financing activities, and ensuring corporate and data‑protection compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise, negotiate and manage contracts with partnership shippers and other key accounts.
• Lead the legal workstream for fundraising, borrowing and financing transactions.
• Develop, implement and monitor compliance policies, including data protection requirements.
• Oversee corporate legal structure and corporate secretarial compliance.
• Manage the NV Group contracting policy and standardise contracting processes across the group.
• Provide advice and manage material dispute resolution matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification legal experience.
• At least 3 years drafting, negotiating and managing complex multi‑country or regional services agreements.
• Proven experience designing and implementing legal policies and identifying/prioritising risks.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.
• LL.B or J.D. from a recognised university in Singapore, England, Australia, Hong Kong or another major common‑law jurisdiction.
• Admission to the Singapore Bar preferred; candidates admitted to other major common‑law bars are also considered.
