Regional Medical Affairs Manager

About the role

The Regional Medical Affairs Manager will lead the development and execution of medico‑marketing strategies and scientific evidence generation across multiple therapeutic areas. Reporting to the Regional Medical Affairs team, you will work closely with commercial, regulatory and research functions to ensure scientific alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and drive regional medico‑marketing strategies in partnership with commercial teams.
• Identify therapeutic gaps, generate insights and lead data‑generation initiatives, including publications and real‑world evidence projects.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and external stakeholders.
• Establish advisory boards, expert panels and medical education programmes to support disease and product management.
• Provide scientific input to brand strategy, positioning and lifecycle management.
• Oversee medical information responses and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
• Lead Phase IV, investigator‑initiated and post‑marketing studies, ensuring adherence to SOPs and GCP.
• Assess business development opportunities from a medical and scientific perspective.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine or related field.
• Extensive experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of leading scientific strategy, evidence generation and KOL engagement at a regional level.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance and GCP standards.
