Regional Strategy and Partnership Manager (Malaysia)

About the role

Based in Malaysia and reporting to the Applied Materials South East Asia Regional Office, you will support the Regional President Office and work with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders to translate global strategies into regional growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Strategize by aligning regional trends with global initiatives and Business Units to enhance competitiveness.
• Drive change as a change activist, coordinating with senior management and BUs on strategic regional programs.
• Improve operational cadence and decision‑making for regional initiatives.
• Originate, negotiate and execute ecosystem partnerships with government agencies in Malaysia.
• Build and maintain public‑private relationships to position Applied Materials strategically.
• Provide core messaging and strategic direction for internal and external communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in public‑private partnerships, strategic operations and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and strategic communication skills.
• Ability to work across time zones in multi‑functional global teams.
