Regional Tax Lead

About the role

This is a high‑impact leadership opportunity for an experienced tax professional to shape the regional tax strategy for a leading investment management firm operating across Asia. You will work closely with senior leadership to support business expansion and ensure compliance in a complex international tax environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional tax strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Advise on cross‑border transactions, investment and fund structures, financing arrangements, and corporate restructurings.
• Lead corporate tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax, GST/VAT and other direct and indirect tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage tax risk, governance frameworks, and relationships with external advisors and tax authorities.
• Monitor international tax developments (OECD, BEPS, Pillar Two) and assess their impact on the business.
• Drive process improvements and provide technical tax guidance to regional finance teams.

Required profile

• 12+ years of tax experience in investment management, hedge funds, private equity, banking, financial services or a Big Four firm.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
