Regional Tax Manager – APAC (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Tax Manager to lead tax activities for the Asia‑Pacific region from our Singapore office. Reporting to the Regional Head of Tax – Asia Pacific, you will shape the tax agenda, optimise the group’s tax profile and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the group’s tax vision and agenda across APAC.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimise the regional tax profile.
• Manage tax aspects of M&A projects, designing tax‑efficient acquisition and divestment structures.
• Handle tax audits, disputes and relationships with tax authorities such as IRAS.
• Oversee relationships with external advisors and industry peers.
• Monitor regional tax developments and flag material risks to internal stakeholders.
• Prepare tax accruals and internal financial tax reports.
• Ensure timely compliance with direct and indirect tax reporting obligations.
• Lead digitalisation of tax compliance processes in Singapore and the wider region.
• Support implementation of BEPS Pillar 2 compliance for APAC.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with at least 12 years of Singapore and international tax experience in established MNCs.
• Exposure to both tax advisory and tax compliance matters.
• Proven experience working with IRAS and other tax authorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commercially minded self‑starter with collaborative abilities in a global environment.
• Detail‑oriented, hands‑on, and willing to travel internationally on short notice.
