Regional Vice President, Business Development APJ

About the role

Our mission is to automate coding by building the best tool for professional programmers. As the Regional Vice President of Business Development for APJ, you will accelerate our go‑to‑market motion, working closely with executives, customers, and partners to turn high‑level relationships into qualified pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand the executive briefing network across the region, building relationships with our largest customers and prospects.
• Plan, organize, and lead executive engagements, including multi‑day trips and roadshows, managing the relationship until an account owner is assigned.
• Identify sub‑regions, industries, and strategies for new customer acquisition and help establish our market presence.
• Execute the regional enterprise growth strategy, supporting partners and account executives throughout the sales cycle.
• Forge new relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders that contribute to regional growth.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in business development, venture capital, or sales.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity with a proven track record of hitting goals without a playbook.
• Hands‑on experience working directly with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑starter with clear evidence of professional initiative.
• Exceptional communicator with strong executive presence.
• Enjoys being a “super IC,” delivering outstanding individual results.
• Familiar with the developer tooling ecosystem and current AI trends.
