Remote Tax Consultant (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced US Tax Consultant to join a leading finance organization on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on providing high‑quality tax expertise to train next‑generation AI systems that interpret tax law.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, including conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of US tax law, covering federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear feedback.
• Logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Experience working with tax documentation and statutory language.
