Remote Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) – $55-$75/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced US tax professional (EA or CPA) to work remotely on a contract basis. You will help train next‑generation AI systems by providing high‑quality, real‑world tax input, ensuring models learn accurate statutory language and reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, focusing on statutory language, conditions, thresholds, and legal exceptions.
• Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for accuracy and clarity.
• Provide structured written feedback through a review UI to ensure regulatory compliance and high‑quality output.
• Apply logical reasoning to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in tax documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members and stakeholders to clarify interpretations and resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of US tax law, including federal and state statutes, regulations, and court decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written communication skills for clear, concise feedback.
• Strong logical reasoning and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Experience working with tax documentation, statutory language, and regulatory requirements.
