About the role
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at NTU seeks a Research Assistant to support metal additive manufacturing process qualification and fatigue analysis projects. The role involves designing, building, testing, and analysing advanced manufacturing processes within a multidisciplinary research environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct design‑build‑test research on metal additive manufacturing processes.
- Perform fatigue modeling, analysis, testing and apply machine‑learning techniques.
- Support and review research publications.
Required profile
- Strong research aptitude with experience in academic or industrial projects.
- Current BEng, MSc or PhD candidates (waiting for oral exams) are considered.
- Experience with research publications, reporting, or review is advantageous.
