Research Associate / Fellow in Cell & Molecular Biology

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU Singapore is seeking a motivated researcher to join a dynamic team investigating cellular, molecular and metabolic mechanisms of cardiovascular and skeletal diseases. The position is available at two levels – Research Associate and Research Fellow – and offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge tissue biology techniques under the guidance of Assoc Prof Saravana Ramasamy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform experiments involving advanced imaging, tissue/cell culture and mouse models, and analyse the resulting data.
• Compile experimental data, prepare figures and assist in manuscript preparation (especially for the Fellow role).
• Carry out research‑related administrative tasks and support day‑to‑day laboratory management.
• Train junior lab members and contribute to protocol development (for the Fellow position).

Required profile

• Minimum Master’s degree in Biological or Biomedical Sciences (or veterinary sciences for the Associate role).
• PhD with publications in high‑impact journals for the Fellow role.
• Previous research experience in cell and molecular biology.
• Experience with mouse models; RCULAC training advantageous.
