Research Associate / Fellow – Learning Analytics & Machine Learning

About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at NTU is seeking a Research Associate or Research Fellow to advance its Learning Analytics and Machine Learning initiatives, particularly within the CADENCE D-PHA digital health platform. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop AI‑driven solutions that improve patient engagement and medication adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, manage, and analyse large medical and usage datasets.
• Perform statistical analyses and predictive analytics on learning and usage data.
• Draft, edit, and submit research manuscripts to top‑tier conferences and journals.
• Collaborate with external partners on technical matters and project deliverables.
• Support the project team in the execution of research and development activities.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (for Research Fellow) or Master’s degree (for Research Associate) in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Learning Analytics or Machine Learning.
• Demonstrated experience in the software development life‑cycle and programming.
• Track record of publishing research papers in reputable ML conferences or journals.
• Ability to lead or support multidisciplinary research projects.
