Research Community & Engagement Manager (Senior Executive)

About the role

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) at the National University of Singapore seeks a dynamic professional to lead its community and engagement initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee onboarding, orientation, alumni relations, wellbeing programmes, and social events for staff, students, interns, visitors, and partner nodes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the welcome and onboarding process for new staff, students, interns and visitors, including information sessions and website updates.
• Design and deliver orientation programmes across all CQT nodes.
• Develop and execute internal communication tactics such as all‑staff emails, newsletters, internal webpages and town‑hall events.
• Chair the centre’s wellbeing committee and plan regular social and community‑building activities.
• Coordinate alumni engagement activities and maintain relationships with former members.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for visitors and internship programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in community engagement, internal communications or related administrative roles.
• Strong communicator comfortable engaging individuals of diverse seniority levels and nationalities.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Self‑motivated, systematic and able to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
