About the role
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at NTU is recruiting a Research Engineer I to join a CITIES OF TOMORROW (CoT) R&D project for VERTICAL 5: CITY IN NATURE. The project aims to ensure a resilient urban environment against climate change and supports NTU's research in Resilient Urbanisation and Natural Ecosystems, aligned with Singapore's National Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2025 plan.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in field and laboratory tests
- Develop test protocols
- Compile test data and maintain the database
- Conduct analysis and evaluation
- Assist in preparing budgets, reports and papers
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or related field
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Good written and oral communication skills for report writing
Required skills
- Knowledge of Python and 3D modelling software is an advantage
- A Class 3 driving licence (Singapore) is an advantage
