Research Fellow – 3D Reconstruction & Digital Human Modeling

About the role

The College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University seeks a motivated Research Fellow to advance cutting‑edge work in 3D reconstruction, digital human modeling, and video synthesis. The role involves both independent and collaborative research, contributing to NTU’s reputation as a leader in AI and computing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research on 3D reconstruction, 3D digital human modeling, and video synthesis/editing.
• Publish research outcomes in top‑tier journals and conferences.
• Mentor and supervise junior researchers and interns.
• Collaborate with industrial and academic partners.
• Perform any other duties related to the research programme.

Required profile

• Preferably a PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a strong team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to formulate hypotheses, design experiments and report progress.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
