Research Fellow – AI in Innovation Strategy

About the role

The Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship at Nanyang Business School seeks a Research Fellow to advance scholarly work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and strategic management. You will contribute to high‑impact research on managerial decision‑making, problem formulation, and the influence of AI on diversity in strategic processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement organizational field experiments, secure research sites, and manage sample collection.
• Conduct empirical research on AI‑enabled strategic management, focusing on decision‑making and strategic processes.
• Process and analyse multi‑source survey, experimental, and organisational datasets.
• Prepare research reports, draft academic publications, and support grant applications.
• Collaborate with international academic institutions and industry partners, and supervise student research where appropriate.

Required profile

• PhD in Management, Strategy, Organizational Behaviour, or a related discipline.
• Experience in organisational or experimental research with a record of independent work.
• Strong theoretical background in artificial intelligence and strategic management.
• Demonstrated academic writing ability and potential for high‑quality publications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical software such as R or Python.
