About the role

The College of Computing & Data Science at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) seeks a Research Fellow to advance algorithms and data systems for next‑generation data preparation and cleaning. This role supports cutting‑edge AI and data science research in a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on algorithms and data systems for data preparation and cleaning.
• Produce research papers, reports, and presentations for funding bodies and the academic community.
• Provide guidance and support to students involved in the project.
• Participate in, contribute to, and lead relevant meetings.
• Perform any other duties related to the research programme.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player.
• Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills.
• In‑depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
• Ability to formulate hypotheses, design experimental plans and implement new methods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
