About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking a Research Fellow to lead experimental work on free-electron-driven X-ray nanophotonics, with the aim of achieving X-ray phase-contrast imaging on a table-top scale. The position is advertised through the L. J. Wong Group on X-ray and Free Electron Quantum Nanophotonics, a leading research group recognised as a 2024 Falling Walls Winner.
Key responsibilities
- Perform experiments on free-electron-driven X-ray nanophotonics and phase-contrast imaging in customised scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) setups.
- Lead papers and publish in high-impact journals.
- Present at top-tier international conferences.
Required profile
- PhD degree in physics, engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with vacuum electronics and free-electron-based devices.
