About the role
The Singapore Institute of Technology seeks a Research Fellow to lead applied research on Human-in-the-Loop AI perception systems for autonomous vehicles. You will collaborate with a Principal Investigator, co‑PI, industry partners and a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on Human-in-the-Loop AI perception systems for autonomous driving.
- Design the framework of the proposed solution together with collaborators and industry partners.
- Manage project deliverables, risk assessments and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate procurement, liaise with vendors and ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
Required profile
- PhD in computer science, engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong research record with publications in top‑tier conferences.
- Knowledge of autonomous vehicles or cyber security is advantageous.
Required skills
- Deep Learning
- Computer Vision
- Experience with diffusion models (a plus)
