About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Fellow to lead a project on the miniaturisation of nitrogen‑vacancy (NV) sensors for quantum instruments. The role combines cutting‑edge product design, systems engineering and laboratory management in a multidisciplinary research environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research activities related to product design and engineering for quantum technologies.
- Develop detailed product design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Apply optics and electronics design knowledge to optimise quantum technology systems.
- Maintain administrative and logistical aspects of laboratory operations.
Required profile
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or Quantum Engineering.
- Familiarity with quantum technologies and AutoCAD.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Highly motivated for multidisciplinary research.
- Proven experience in product design, project leadership and optics alignment.
