Research Fellow – Perovskite Materials

About the role

The Renewable & Low‑Carbon Generation – Solar team at NTU is seeking a motivated Research Fellow to advance large‑area halide perovskite devices for solar and light‑emitting applications. You will work on cost‑effective fabrication processes and contribute to high‑impact publications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop fabrication processes, material characterization, and reliability testing for perovskite devices.
• Test new halide perovskite compositions and explore novel device configurations with improved stability.
• Design and fabricate perovskite devices of various sizes, including large‑area slot‑die coated samples.
• Prepare reports, present results, and maintain detailed research records for journal and conference submissions.
• Collaborate with post‑graduate students, internal researchers, and external partners on short‑ and long‑term projects.

Required profile

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of materials, device physics, and processing techniques.
• Experience with halide perovskites and large‑area fabrication (slot‑die coating) is highly desired.
• Proficiency in materials and device characterization methods.
• Effective time‑management, experimental design, and data‑analysis skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English for research communication.
