About the role

The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at NTU Singapore seeks a Research Fellow to advance the study of quantum materials using machine‑learning techniques. You will work within a vibrant research community, contributing to cutting‑edge projects that combine condensed‑matter physics with artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct original, high‑quality research aimed at publication in leading international journals.
• Develop and maintain a curated database of quantum materials for systematic discovery.
• Design AI‑based tools to screen and identify promising quantum materials, enhancing density functional theory workflows.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and technical mentoring to PhD students.

Required profile

• PhD in condensed‑matter physics or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with topological concepts and quantum geometry.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
