About the role
CGH is looking for qualified medical professionals to join its resident physician and staff registrar programme across a wide range of specialties. The position involves providing direct patient care in both ward and outpatient settings while supporting surgical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver daily ward duties and conduct clinic sessions for assigned specialties.
- Assist in operative procedures for patients scheduled for surgery.
- Participate in residential night call rosters as required.
- Perform any additional tasks delegated by supervising consultants.
Required profile
- Hold a basic medical degree or a postgraduate qualification recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
- Minimum of three years post‑housemanship clinical experience.
- Meet all SMC criteria for Conditional Medical Registration for foreign applicants.
- Demonstrate English language proficiency if the primary language of medical training was not English.
