Resident Technical Officer

About the role

The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) will oversee daily site operations for HYPOWER M&E, ensuring that construction activities are executed safely, accurately, and in line with approved plans, specifications, and statutory requirements. This on‑site position works closely with contractors, consultants, and the project team to deliver quality results on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all daily contractor activities, site progress, schedule adherence, and safety compliance.
• Identify and report discrepancies, non‑conformances, and irregularities to quality personnel, consultants, and the employer.
• Ensure construction works meet all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support the project team in maintaining quality standards and timely execution of works.

Required profile

• Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil/structural construction supervision.
• Diploma in civil/structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, communication, and supervision abilities.
