Resident Technical Officer – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

The Resident Technical Officer (M&E) will supervise building and infrastructure works across Singapore, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and compliance. You will apply your mechanical and electrical engineering expertise to keep projects on schedule and meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities for buildings and infrastructure, verifying compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to monitor progress, resolve construction issues and maintain continuous site operations.
• Apply M&E engineering principles to supervise construction quality, methods and shift work schedules.
• Ensure all regulatory and accreditation requirements are met during supervision.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of experience supervising building works, preferably on LTA bus depot projects.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline accredited by the Commissioner of Building Control.
• Accreditation by JAC of IES/ACES as a Qualified Site Supervisor (QSS).
• Willingness to work a 44‑hour week with shift rotations.
