Retail Assistant – Part‑Time (Tengah, Singapore)

About the role

We are a wholesaler and retailer of children’s books and toys looking for a reliable part‑time retail assistant to join our store in Tengah. The role offers a stable schedule with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, plus sales incentives for meeting targets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cashiering transactions and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide friendly service.
• Maintain store presentation, including price‑tagging and shelf organization.
• Receive deliveries, unpack, and re‑shelve or store stock as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the store clean and orderly.

Required profile

• Team player with a positive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior retail or customer‑service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
