Sales Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

A technology service provider to the microelectronics industry, with its head office in Singapore, is hiring a Sales Engineer in the South East region. The role is based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore, and involves managing customer accounts, driving sales and providing technical and commercial support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer accounts and develop strong customer relationships
• Achieve sales targets and identify new customers, projects and business opportunities
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales enquiries and opportunities
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for order fulfilment and delivery
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations and business discussions
• Monitor market trends, competitors and new opportunities
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
• Support new product introduction and customer evaluation activities

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Material Science, Business, Sales or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; experience in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor process engineering or technical sales is an added advantage
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong customer service, sales and business development mindset
• Willingness to travel for customer visits when required

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Proactive, independent and willing to learn
