Sales Engineer (WTA)

About the role

Veolia Water Technologies, part of the Veolia group, is looking for a Sales Engineer (WTA) in Singapore. The role covers the end-to-end sales cycle: building product and system knowledge, understanding market needs, developing new accounts and maintaining existing ones, and providing technical support to customers. It works closely with the WTA service team and coordinates with customer service on administrative work.

Key responsibilities

• Sell: identify and develop leads and opportunities, generate sales orders, build a sales plan and tactics, achieve booking targets and grow gross margin with Service Operation and Customer Service, and follow up on growth initiative KPIs
• Communicate: maintain client relationships, understand client budgets and market demand, and expand the number of old and new accounts
• Grow: ensure smooth transitions of service contracts and projects to the Service Operation team, improve soft skills through the Sales Academy, and strengthen product fluency and technical knowledge
• Apply safety and quality procedures for operations linked to the role

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in engineering, chemistry, business or another field
• At least 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role for water additives
• Has previously secured or delivered $1 million in booking revenue (to be shown in the CV)
• Experience networking with commercial, institutional and industrial customers
• Driving licence and Water Efficiency Manager course or equivalent
• Fresh graduates are not accepted
