Sales Lead, Commercial

About the role

NCS, a technology services firm operating across the Asia Pacific region, is looking for a Sales Lead, Commercial in Singapore. Reporting to the Client Service Lead, the Sales Lead acts as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients, driving sales, account penetration and pipeline growth while managing the sales performance of their own business centre.

Key responsibilities

• Build deep, trusted client relationships and customise and sell NCS solutions and services to meet client needs
• Develop sales pipelines, define solution offerings and value propositions, and supervise sales activity and sales process planning
• Manage account-level risk dollar and budget, control costs and negotiate variation orders
• Manage and monitor account risks, escalate issues and act as an escalation point within the account
• Work with Lines of Business on project capability gaps and manage sub-contractor and vendor escalations
• Lead and manage project delivery teams to deliver services on time, at quality and cost-effectively
• Assess conceptual designs to ensure they can be delivered at the right margin and identify complex business problems and propose alternative solutions
• Act as Solution Lead, ensuring solution consistency and serving as custodian of architecture

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
• PMP certification preferred
• 15 years or more of experience in IT or ICT consulting, with at least 8 years in account management for key client industries
• Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects
• Experience in measured productivity-driven operations or teams

• Deep business acumen and industry knowledge, with hands-on experience in vendor and user environments
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management using social style techniques
• Organisational and project management skills, and ability to lead multiple teams
