Sales Support Manager

About the role

The Sales Support Manager will drive solution‑based sales and key account management by supporting global sales processes, enhancing eService tool usage, and ensuring compliance. This role focuses on optimizing profitability and customer satisfaction across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships, transitioning from product to solution sales through global process implementation and training.
• Improve eService tool utilization by delivering targeted training and enforcing compliance standards.
• Enforce commercial rules to ensure consistent services and pricing across accounts.
• Design concept sales strategies and orchestrate multi‑country opportunities to maximize global account potential.
• Support global RFQs with accurate, compliant quotations aligned with customer freight needs and company SOPs.
• Define and improve KPIs related to auto‑rating and quoting efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between Operations and Business Development to ensure billing accuracy and profitability.
• Lead process improvements with the EDI Core team and act as a Key User to reduce auto‑rating errors.
• Train sales support executives on EDI compliance and improve opportunity closing rates.
• Analyze sales opportunities, negotiate with procurement, and support tender management.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Pro‑active, solution‑oriented with a hands‑on attitude.
• Ability to work independently and within virtual teams.
• Strong communication skills to build trust across cultures and distances.
• Excellent time and task management, with a pragmatic and flexible approach.

Required skills

• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) knowledge and compliance.
• eService tool utilization.
• RFQ quoting and auto‑rating processes.
• Understanding of SOPs and commercial rule enforcement.
