Scaffolder

About the role

The scaffolder will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling temporary elevated platforms, ensuring safe access for workers and materials at height.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, modify and dismantle metal or bamboo scaffolding according to approved designs, ensuring stable bases, mudsills and proper bracing.
• Install fall‑protection systems, guard rails and safety netting while complying with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Inspect all scaffold components for defects, damage or wear before use.
• Coordinate with construction managers, engineers and other trades to meet project‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of scaffolding experience in construction.
• Valid scaffolding certification.
• Basic English communication and basic mathematics.
• Good physical fitness, stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
• Ability to read and interpret structural diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
