School Nurse (International School)

About the role

Stamford American International School is seeking a qualified School Nurse to join its Health & Safety team. The role involves delivering health and first‑aid services within a vibrant, multicultural educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide health and first‑aid services to students and staff on campus.
• Maintain best‑practice standards for health and first‑aid delivery, including restocking kits and ensuring functional equipment.
• Assess, treat, and document illnesses and accidents; refer to external medical services when needed.
• Offer first‑line counselling and identify students at risk, referring them to appropriate parties.
• Securely administer medications and monitor students with special health needs.
• Act as a health resource for staff, students, and parents, delivering health promotion and education.
• Notify teachers of student sick‑leave needs and support student accountability.
• Maintain accurate health records, databases, and communication channels.
• Ensure ongoing professional development, including First Aid and CPR certification.
• Monitor and report health‑related incidents, hazards, and trends.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience as a registered nurse in a school setting is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high‑quality, timely nursing care to the school community.
