Search Optimisation Specialist (SEO/SEM/GEO)

About the role

You will lead and optimise IKEA Singapore's end‑to‑end search performance across SEO, SEM and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). Your mission is to keep IKEA visible wherever customers search for inspiration, information and products while driving sustainable traffic, conversion and commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and continuously optimise the search strategy across SEO, SEM and GEO to maximise visibility, traffic and commercial performance.
• Implement SEO improvements on the IKEA website, including content optimisation, metadata, site architecture, internal linking and technical enhancements.
• Plan, manage and optimise SEM campaigns – keyword strategy, bidding, budget allocation, ad creation and performance monitoring.
• Lead GEO initiatives to strengthen visibility on AI‑powered search and answer engines.
• Analyse customer search behaviour, keyword opportunities, market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor, report and translate search performance data into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Selling, Marketing and Commercial teams to embed search optimisation into campaigns and digital experiences.
• Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment on tools, governance and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong commercial understanding and data‑driven mindset.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with internal and global teams.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of search engine algorithm changes, AI developments and industry trends.
