Secondary School Teacher (German Curriculum) – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking motivated secondary school teachers for the 2026/2027 academic year at our German‑medium campus in Singapore. The successful candidates will deliver the German secondary curriculum in subjects such as Biology, English and German, fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the German secondary school curriculum, using current and effective teaching strategies.
• Monitor and support the academic progress of all students, ensuring achievement of learning outcomes.
• Maintain a positive, caring classroom atmosphere and communicate regularly with parents.
• Participate in faculty meetings, working groups and school‑wide initiatives.
• Accompany students on school trips, including overnight excursions, when required.
• Represent the school professionally in all external communications.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience.
• Recognised teaching qualification (equivalent to the German 1st and 2nd Staatsexamen).
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with the German secondary school curriculum.
• Humorous, resilient personality with a passion for educating young learners.

Required skills

• Good computer skills.
• Experience using new media tools in classroom instruction.
