Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager to join our finance team. The role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic planning in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, transactions and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Manage full sets of accounts, including sales, purchases, AR/AP ageing, fixed assets, lease schedules and accruals.
• Support intercompany transactions, reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Conduct cash‑flow management and monitor liquidity positions.
• Guide Accounts Executives to meet accounting deliverables on time.
• Assist in preparing monthly consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate documentation for group and local statutory audits.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SFRS, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Identify financial risks and recommend internal‑control improvements.
• Drive process improvements and finance system enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in listed companies or group structures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
