Senior Accountant – Full Set of Accounts

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for our fire‑protection business in Tuas. The role involves end‑to‑end accounting, month‑end and year‑end closings, and preparation of statutory returns.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the complete accounting cycle from transaction recording to month‑end closing and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and accounting schedules.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities accurately and on time.
• Prepare and submit GST F5 returns, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Monitor cash flow, account balances, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and proper documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments, auditors, and external parties on accounting matters.
• Support audit preparation and provide required financial information.
• Review and improve accounting processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform ad‑hoc accounting duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably managing a full set of accounts independently.
• Experience preparing and submitting GST F5 returns.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software – MYOB (required) and Odoo (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of GST F5 filing requirements.
