Senior Accountant & Group Bookkeeper

About the role

TruVet Pharmaceutical is building a GMP‑certified manufacturing facility in Singapore and needs a hands‑on Senior Accountant / Group Bookkeeper to own the day‑to‑day books across its regional entities. Reporting to the Group Founder and CEO (later to the Group Financial Controller), you will coordinate with local accountants and tax agents in multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, AP/AR and data entry for entities in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, the UAE and Thailand.
• Work with the company’s AI‑powered bank reconciliation tool and an AI‑driven expense‑management system, adopting them as the primary workflow.
• Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for each entity with concise commentary on any anomalies.
• Serve as the primary liaison with local accounting firms and tax agents, supplying accurate data, monitoring deadlines and resolving queries.
• Identify and clean up backlog, errors and unreconciled items, and proactively flag issues to the founder with analysis.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of hands‑on accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably handling multiple SME clients or entities.
• Has independently managed the full books for at least one company, from transaction entry through to management accounts.
• Comfortable working with AI‑powered or automated finance tools; not suited to purely manual processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English – the working language across the group.
• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance; part‑qualified ACCA/CA is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks Online or a comparable cloud accounting platform.
• Experience using AI‑driven finance tools for bank reconciliation and expense management.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and a proactive approach to error detection.
