Senior Advancement Manager – Fundraising & Partnerships

About the role

The College of Engineering at NTU is looking for a dynamic senior advancement professional to lead high‑impact fundraising initiatives. You will originate, develop, and secure major and principal gifts from ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, aligning philanthropy with the college’s research, innovation, and academic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and cultivate a pipeline of high‑capacity donors through proactive outreach.
• Manage relationships with major‑gift prospects, guiding them from initial contact to committed donations.
• Lead donor conversations and secure significant gifts that support strategic priorities.
• Partner with senior leadership and faculty to translate research and academic goals into compelling funding opportunities.
• Design and execute targeted fundraising strategies for research, scholarships, and capital projects.
• Structure and negotiate complex gifts, including endowed and multi‑year commitments.
• Create engagement opportunities to deepen donor relationships and inspire long‑term support.
• Track portfolio activity with disciplined accountability.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Communications, Public Policy, Engineering, or related field; master’s degree advantageous.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in major‑gift fundraising, private banking, wealth management, or high‑value relationship‑driven business development.
• Proven ability to engage and build trust with ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Demonstrated success securing high‑value philanthropic commitments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
