Senior Analytics Manager (Geo and IoT)

About the role

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, offering food delivery, financial management and transport services. As Senior Analytics Manager for Geo and IoT, you will lead a dedicated team of 5-7 data scientists and report directly to the Head of Analytics, Fulfilment and Geo. This highly cross-functional role works with Product, Business, Engineering, Design and Data Science teams to turn raw data into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor and develop a diverse team of data scientists, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation and continuous learning.
• Present the team's findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders, influencing critical company decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to integrate analytics across the business, translating complex data into clear strategies.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in data-related or quantitative fields, with a background in D2C or B2C contexts such as marketplaces, logistics or fulfilment.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience leading and growing high-performing teams, horizontally and vertically.
• Autonomy, entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to foster a data-driven culture.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other relevant scripting languages.
• Deep experience designing and running experiments such as A/B testing and time-slice experiments.
• Data visualization and storytelling for non-technical audiences.
