Senior Assistant Manager, Technology Innovation Office

About the role

The Technology Innovation Office at NUHS is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager who will act as its main point of contact. The role supports the office in improving the clinical engagement and adoption of health technologies across departments, including serving as the National University HealthTech Accelerator (NUHTA) Program Manager. It also works with the Deputy Director to balance commercial viability with strategy, and advises portfolio companies on growth.

Key responsibilities

• Improve clinical engagement and adoption of health technologies by streamlining processes and using existing groups and initiatives across NUHS.
• Support the Deputy Director in identifying and originating local investment opportunities and in due diligence.
• Act as a HealthTech venture builder, supporting ideas and startups from concept to sustainable commercialisation.
• Advise portfolio and cohort companies on strategy implementation, management selection and business development.
• Remain a practicing clinician half a day per week (to be determined).

Required profile

• Preferably holds Singapore Medical Council registration; full registration viewed favourably.
• Successfully completed an internationally renowned HealthTech Innovation Fellowship or equivalent.
• Good diagnostic and clinical management acumen.
• Team player able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide strategy and due diligence support to commercialise health technologies.
