Senior Associate – Financial Reporting

About the role

Join SGX Group as a Senior Associate in Financial Reporting, based in Singapore. You will prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with IFRS and SGX reporting standards, while supporting regulatory and management reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for SGX Group and subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS/SFRS(I) and SGX requirements.
• Assist in quarterly and annual deliverables, including board materials, SGXNet announcements and Annual Reports.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate timely year‑end audit completion.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and support regulatory reporting such as MAS returns and tax filings.
• Monitor capital adequacy for regulated subsidiaries and contribute to capital planning exercises.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting or finance experience; experience in financial institutions or listed companies is preferred.
• Prior Big 4 audit experience or a Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/SFRS(I) and regulatory capital requirements.
• Keen interest in process re‑engineering and automation.
