Senior Associate, Operational Excellence

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to drive operational excellence at its Singapore site. The role combines project management of CAPEX initiatives with continuous‑improvement activities using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor site CAPEX projects, ensuring accurate reporting, documentation, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Prepare monthly CAPEX reports and support audits related to Assets under Construction.
• Ensure project management practices comply with Alcon Financial Control Manual and Manual of Accounting.
• Provide regular status updates to site leadership and highlight risks or issues.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, Lean and Six Sigma activities, and value‑stream mapping workshops.
• Collect, report, and analyse data to identify bottlenecks and develop action plans.
• Support preparation, submission, and follow‑up of government grants linked to projects.
• Adhere to Alcon standards for quality, ethics, health, safety, environment, and information security.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt highly preferred.
