Senior Associate/Manager – Government Relations & ESG

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Associate or Manager to join SHEIN’s Policy and Strategy team in Singapore. The role will support global ESG public‑policy initiatives, monitor regulatory developments and help strengthen our ESG governance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Track, analyse and assess ESG policy and regulatory developments across SHEIN’s global markets, focusing on issues with significant business, operational, reporting, reputational or compliance implications.
• Develop recommendations for senior management on strategies to manage ESG policy risks, prepare for high‑impact regulatory changes and support advocacy actions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workplans to ensure compliance with select ESG regulations of global impact.
• Enhance SHEIN’s readiness for ESG reporting by strengthening internal governance, data processes and coordination on priority topics.
• Contribute to the annual sustainability and social impact report, ESG disclosures and strategic communications that boost SHEIN’s ESG positioning and external visibility.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with NGOs, international organisations, industry associations, government officials, regulators and business groups.
• Communicate key ESG projects, initiatives and policy positions to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in ESG, Environmental Policy, International Relations, Public Policy, Sustainability, Law, Political Science or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in government relations, public policy, ESG compliance or related areas.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience advising senior management on policy implications.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across legal, compliance, sustainability and business teams.
