Senior Business Analyst - Insurance (1-Year Renewable Contract)

About the role

Citadel Search is looking for an experienced Business Analyst on a 1-year renewable contract to support a client in the insurance industry. The role helps shape business strategy and improve marketing ROI so that APAC regional growth targets can be met. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Data analysis: use leading data analysis and visualization tools to extract actionable insights, identify trends and support strategic decisions for the major markets.
• Reporting and documentation: prepare clear, concise and visually compelling marketing reports, presentations and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations and project progress to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder collaboration: work with business leaders and technical teams to understand requirements, manage expectations and align on organizational goals.
• Project support: contribute to project delivery using best practices from recognized project management and development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Continuous improvement: identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• More than 6 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role in the insurance industry, with a track record of successful marketing project outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to turn complex marketing concepts into clear actions for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven success in managing stakeholder expectations and getting stakeholders to adopt and share marketing results across markets.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL and Power BI.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or other recognized project management frameworks.
