Senior Business Partner, Strategy & Planning

About the role

The Strategy & Planning Division of Enterprise Singapore charts new strategies and approaches for the organisation, drives alignment across organisational priorities and responds to macroeconomic and geopolitical developments to support Singapore's economic growth. This role shapes and drives the medium- to long-term strategic direction while ensuring strong corporate governance and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Strategy development and planning: support the formulation and execution of medium- to long-term organisational strategies and drive strategic alignment across corporate priorities and initiatives.
• Research and analysis: conduct research on global economic, macroeconomic and geopolitical trends, assess their implications for Singapore enterprises and distil complex information into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
• Corporate governance and performance management: support Board secretariat duties, performance monitoring and enterprise risk management, and contribute to stronger governance frameworks and accountability.
• Stakeholder engagement: work closely with internal teams, Ministries and government agencies to drive strategic initiatives and align stakeholders with Enterprise Singapore's mission and objectives.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a planning-related role, preferably with exposure to economics, strategy development or policy work.
• Demonstrated interest in public service and supporting the growth of Singapore enterprises.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team, taking ownership of work, communicating clearly and adapting to change.

Required skills

• Research and analysis, with the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strong critical thinking, able to summarise complex information in clear papers and presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting to senior management.
