Senior Business Technology Consultant

About the role

Capgemini Invent is looking for a Senior Business Technology Consultant to join its Business Technology practice. You will work with financial‑services clients on complex transformation programmes, helping them decide how to invest in, govern and extract value from technology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide programme steering and governance for multi‑year, large‑scale transformations, acting as a “control tower” for business and IT.
• Develop enterprise‑architecture blueprints that guide technology investment and ensure scalability and alignment with business strategy.
• Analyse IT portfolios, rationalise spend, build investment cases and support CIOs in communicating financial and strategic value.
• Design AI‑at‑scale strategies, operating models and governance frameworks for responsible deployment of generative and agentic AI in regulated environments.
• Lead workshops, contribute to steering committees and produce clear, executive‑level deliverables.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in management consulting, IT strategy or a corporate transformation office.
• Hands‑on experience in at least one core area: large‑scale programme governance, enterprise architecture, IT operating model design, IT financial management or AI strategy.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with the ability to translate complex issues into clear executive narratives.
• Proven client‑facing credibility, comfortable leading workshops and delivering defensible recommendations.
• Degree in business, technology or a related field and a demonstrated curiosity for technology.
• Experience in financial services or a clear motivation to develop expertise in this sector is a plus.
