The role sits within Global Apparel PCC and works closely with Design, Product Management, Materials Development, Sourcing, Manufacturing Partners, Color Quality, Operations and vendors. It contributes technical leadership, mentors teammates and strengthens color excellence across the product creation process.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end color development for assigned apparel dimensions, turning creative intent into consistent, commercially ready colors.
  • Manage seasonal color development, including color achievability, lab-dip review and approval, special effects and execution across materials and manufacturing locations.
  • Partner with Design, Product Management, PCC, Sourcing, Color Quality, Operations and Manufacturing Partners to align priorities and resolve issues.
  • Identify and mitigate color, performance, quality and commercialization risks; lead root-cause analysis, exception management and corrective actions.

  • 5+ years of relevant color development, textile coloration or apparel product creation experience.
  • Strong understanding of color science, dyeing technologies, spectrophotometry, color standards, lab-dip evaluation and colorfastness requirements.
  • Experience with PLM, DataColor, Natific or equivalent color-development systems.
  • Comfortable managing multiple seasonal priorities, identifying risk early and influencing cross-functional partners and vendors.

Required skills
