Senior Community Specialist – Gaming

About the role

Razer is seeking a Senior Community Specialist to lead and grow online communities for its gaming portfolio. You will work closely with product, marketing and publishing teams to engage players, foster a positive environment, and drive loyalty through events, livestreams and social interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute community strategies that increase player engagement, retention and brand loyalty.
• Manage day‑to‑day interactions on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Discord and Twitch.
• Host livestreams, community discussions and in‑game activities to nurture an inclusive player base.
• Plan and run contests, events and campaigns that boost participation and excitement.
• Respond promptly to player inquiries, concerns and feedback.
• Monitor community health metrics (engagement, sentiment, feedback) and provide data‑driven insights.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and publishing teams to align community insights with development and promotional strategies.
• Represent the player perspective internally and handle sensitive community issues with empathy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in community management, social media management or a related field.
• Passion for gaming and deep understanding of player psychology and online communities.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Discord and Twitch.
• Copywriting and content creation for engaging community posts.
• Data analysis to track community metrics and inform decisions.
